Forgotten places. The Pilgrim’s Hospital. Many treasures from history fade into oblivion at the same time that the small towns in which they are. The brick building in the background is a Pilgrim’s Hospital built in early XVIth century by the bishop, archbishop, patriarch of the Council of the Indies and chairman of the Council of Castile, Antonio de Rojas. Nowadays, it’s abandoned and in ruins. In the front, the small modern structure of a tourist information point that has as only visitors the village elders, who use it to protect themselves from wind, rain or shine during the long hours of chat.
