Eugenio. This shot is taken is a small town in Almería called Sorbas where we use to go to teach field courses of geology. I know this man since I was student, more than 25 years ago. He’s been working at the bar for near half a century opening at 6 a.m. and closing around 12 p.m. We have seen how we have changed. The advent of gray hair and wrinkles, in my case increasing weight and losing hair, growing kids, losing friends… But he is always there with his rough voice and humor, and a smile when we walked into the bar. He certainly will be one of my memories when time will force me to end my travels.
