Fallas 2012. “La Mascletà” (1).
This Easter has been a sequence of rainy and snowy days, so I haven’t done any meaningful shot. But, on the other hand, I’ve had time to process some old shots.
“Las Fallas” is a traditional festivity of Valencia (East Spain), in which fire and gunpowder take the streets. One of the key ceremonies is the “Mascletà”. This is a daily firework festival that takes place at 2 p.m. in the townhall square and it’s evaluated by the noise and the smell to gunpowder.
In order to find a proper place, you arrive to the surroundings of the square at least one hour before.
